Tours to Land, Norway
Landingslag has organized a number of heritage tours to the Land district in Innlandet county, Norway, providing members and descendants with opportunities to visit ancestral communities, historic sites, churches, museums, and family homesteads. These journeys have strengthened personal connections across generations and deepened understanding of the shared history between Land and North America.
The videos below document the tours of 2000, 2005, 2010, and 2015; the linked years direct you to associated newsletters available to Landingslag members. Landingslag-sponsored tours were also held in 1989, 2022, and 2025, although no video recordings from those visits are known to exist.
